101 ESPN announces partnership with St. Louis Blues

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – 101 ESPN, the Pride of St. Louis Sports, has been named the new flagship radio station for the St. Louis Blues Hockey team for the 2019/2020 season.

The announcement came on Thursday morning, sharing that the beginning of hockey season will have the St. Louis Blues heard exclusively in St. Louis on 101 ESPN.

“We are proud to announce that 101 ESPN is the new flagship station to broadcast the St. Louis Blues Hockey games locally in St. Louis,” Chris “Hoss” Neupert, brand content director, said. “The 101 ESPN team and our Hubbard Radio St. Louis Family [which includes] New Country 92.3, KSHE 95, 105.7 The Point and 106.5 The Arch, are excited to be the new home for the St. Louis Blues.”

101 ESPN said fans will be able to experience Blues Hockey on the “crisp and clear” FM stereo. There will also be a variety of Blues programming including inside information and behind-the-scenes coverage as well as opinions and perspectives from all of the 101 personalities. According to 101 ESPN, St. Louisans can expect to hear “candid” player, coaches and front office interviews in addition to the game recaps and predictions.

“Our entire team is looking forward to our partnership with the St. Louis Blues, and the opportunity to offer innovative content and exclusive interviews, analysis and coverage for St. Louis fans,” Neupert said. “Fans should prepare to hear insight, in-depth Blues reporting live you’ve never heard before.”

Over the past 10 years, 101 ESPN has been the only local and live “premiere” sports and talk radio station and online source for sports fan. The station consistently delivers sports programming and innovative features as well as online content for ST. Louisans and regional sports in and around the bi-state area.

101 ESPN and their show hosts, as well as contributors, have been nominated and awarded various industry accolades, awards and recognition. Among those was the back-to-back nominations for the National Association of Broadcasters’ Marconi Award for Sports/Talk Radio in both 2017 and 2018.
