Two apprehended in Affton armed robbery

Just before midnight on Monday, July 24, police got a call that a suspect held up a cashier at the Circle K Gas Station in the 9000 block of Gravois Road in Affton. State says Cooper County Clerk siphoned public funds for personal pick-up

Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley has filed felony and misdemeanor charges against Cooper County Clerk Darryl Kempf, according to a press release. This is the third corruption prosecution against public officials by Hawley’s Public Corruption Team. Kempf is charged with failure to furnish a return, receiving stolen property, and stealing. Numerous locations to watch solar eclipse in Missouri

Missourians will have plenty of options in choosing where to watch the historic solar eclipse next month. The first total solar eclipse in almost 40 years happens Aug. 21.
