Missing man found dead in Valley Park

St. Louis County Police responded to a call the evening of Aug. 20 that Matthew Kirk, 27, was swimming in the area of North Budder Park in Valley Park and his loved ones had lost contact with him. Police launched a comprehensive search of the area using all available resources, including helicopter, canine, ATVs, and boats, but were still unable to locate Kirk. Clayton city aldermen to take up budget, DeMun Park, Centene development

A local optometrist says with all of the hype surrounding the solar eclipse Aug. 21, she hopes viewers followed proper precautions and didn’t take unnecessary risks with their vision.
