Board of Aldermen Meet to Discuss Hanley Rd, TAP, and Outdoor Dining

The Clayton Board of Alderman will meet Tuesday evening where they are set to consider a Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) application to East-West Gateway. The board will discuss authorizing and supporting a TAP grant application for the Brentwood Boulevard Corridor Bicycle/Pedestrian Trail Routes Study.

The board will also discuss approval of an amendment to the Outdoor Dining Regulations that would allow heaters in the
public right-of-way. (Bill No. 6613) The amendment would allow outdoor heaters in outdoor dining space located on public property. The heaters would need to be approved by the Fire Department.
Also on the agenda for Tuesday is approval for (Bill No. 6614) Use and Maintenance Agreement with St. Louis County for the Hanley Road
Streetscape Improvements Project. The board will discuss approval of a contract with St. Louis County for the sidewalk adjacent to the Scott Triangle Park Project to meet the Downtown Clayton Streetscape Standards.
The board will also meet with the City Manager and review the 2017 2nd Quarter financial report.
