Charges issued in conspiracy to commit murder

CLAYTON, Mo. – On Wednesday, February 27, 2019, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued charges on suspect Michael Johnson, 66 years of age, of the 2600 block of Woodsage Drive in Florissant, Mo. 63033, for two counts of Conspiracy to Commit Murder in the First Degree and two counts of Tamper to Attempt to Tamper with a Victim in a Felony Prosecution.

The probable cause statement reads: Between February 7, 2019, and February 26, 2019, Defendant agreed with Deonta Taylor to give money to CI so that CI would murder R.B. and A.H. Defendant made payments to CI. Defendant did so to prevent R.B. and A.H. from testifying against Dionta Taylor. R.B. and A.H. are both witnesses on case number 18SL-CR08695, 3 counts of Statutory Sodomy 1st degree that were charged as felonies in the County of St. Louis, State of Missouri on or about November 28, 2018, against Deonte Taylor. Defendant admitted to the offenses.

Additionally, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued charges on suspect Deonte Taylor, 36 years of age, of the 2600 block of Woodsage Drive in Florissant, Mo. 63033, for two counts of Conspiracy to Commit Murder in the First Degree and two counts to Tamper or Attempt to Tamper with a Victim in a Felony Prosecution.

The probable cause statement reads: Between February 7, 2019, and February 26, 2019, Defendant asked CI to murder R.B. and A.H. in exchange for money. Defendant directed Michale Johnson to pay CI. Johnson made payments to CI at the direction of the Defendant. Defendant did so to prevent R.B. and A.H. from testifying against him in case number 18SL-CR08695, in which they are both witnesses. In case number 18SL-CR08659, Defendant is charged with 3 counts of Statutory Sodomy 1st Degree that were charged as felonies in the County of St. Louis, State of Missouri on or about November 28, 2019.
