New lawn care app launched in St. Louis region

Already operating in over 100 U.S. cities and they’re not stopping there

ST. LOUIS – Lawn Love, a lawn care app, similar to Uber and Lyft, for professional lawn care services launched last week in the St. Louis region.

“The average lawn care company in Missouri has only two employees and lacks the resources to modernize their business models,” Jeremy Yamaguchi, Lawn Love Founder and CEO said. “We are trying to democratize software for small businesses that will allow them to compete with dominating, corporate lawn care providers such as TruGreen.”

According to a press release, Lawn Love is a service that enables users to instantly schedule, review and pay for various types of lawn services through the mobile app or website. The release states that the platform is powered by satellite imaging software which reviews a property and generates a quote in less than two minutes.

Founded in 2014, Lawn Love is currently operating in over 100 cities in Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.

Lawn Love also covers over 80 percent of suburban American homes.

“Traditionally consumers have had to wait for a lawn care worker to physically come to their property, offer a quote and schedule the service. It can take weeks to get the job done after initial contact was made,” Yamaguchi said.

Since its launch in 2014, Lawn Love has partnered with over 2,500 independent lawn care companies. The app aims to provide lawn care companies with “innovative scheduling, job routing and payment software that will help them grow their businesses” according to the release.

The release states that every contractor goes through a “rigorous background check” which assess the level of their lawn care experience before they are able to begin work through the app.

With the launch in Missouri, residents in greater St. Louis, Kansas City and Springfield will be able to use the services. Residents can choose to schedule a variety of services such as lawn mowing, weeding, aeration, gutter cleaning and more just by visiting https://lawnlove.com/st-louis-lawn-care.

“We’re excited to be bringing lawn care into the 21st century,” Yamaguchi said.
