Event held in conjunction with #GivingTuesday, global giving day
ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Operation Food Search (OFS) will host its annual holiday Rap ‘N Pack on Tuesday, Nov. 27th.
Rap ‘N Pack is held in conjunction with #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving which is celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving. #GivingTuesday is now in its seventh year, kicking off the charitable season and fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.
The event will be held on Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at OFS’ headquarters, 1644 Lotsie Blvd. at a cost of $10 in advance or $12 at the door.
During the event, participants, 21 years of age and older, will sort winter coats and help pack food for food-insecure children and their families during this holiday season. Those who volunteer will also have the opportunity to enjoy music, appetizers and adult beverages.
