MetroLink trains will not operate between the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44, Sunnen and Maplewood-Manchester MetroLink Stations for several hours on Saturday to accommodate maintenance work to the light rail system. From the beginning of service until noon on Saturday, MetroLink riders will be transported by bus shuttles between these Blue Line stations.
MetroLink riders traveling through this section of the Blue Line should expect delays of 20 minutes. MetroLink service operating outside of this area will not be affected. MetroLink Station Shuttle signs are located at each station to indicate where the shuttles pick up and drop off passengers, and Metro will also have personnel on-site to assist passengers.
To avoid delays, eastbound Blue Line MetroLink passengers heading toward downtown St. Louis are encouraged to catch an eastbound MetroLink train at the Brentwood I-64 MetroLink Station, which will not be affected by the temporary disruption in service. More than 700 free parking spaces are available at the Meridian Parking Garage, immediately adjacent to the Brentwood I-64 Station.
MetroLink is scheduled to resume normal operations at the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44, Sunnen and Maplewood-Manchester MetroLink Stations by noon on January 20.
