At approximately 11:53 p.m. on August 24, 2017, officers from the St. Louis County Police Department North County Precinct responded to a residence in the 10400 block of Balmoral Drive for a report of a Check the Welfare.
Upon arrival, officers contacted family members who were worried about occupants of the residence. Officers made entry into the residence with the family members and located four deceased people. Officers located one deceased female and three deceased males suffering from what appears to be gunshot wounds.
The incident is under investigation by the St. Louis County Police Department Crimes Against Persons Unit.
This scene is still very active. Names and ages of the deceased will be released once identification is made and next of kin is notified.
