St. Louis work zones for December 20-26

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – To help motorists travel around the state for the Christmas holiday, MoDOT will restrict the majority of construction on interstates and state highways from noon on Monday, December 24th until 9 a.m. on Wednesday, December 26th.

Restrictions will remain in place in areas where there are permanent barriers, such as Interstate 44 near Arsenal and Interstate 70 at the express lanes. In addition, crews may close lanes for emergency maintenance as needed.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:
· I-44, St. Louis City, one lane closed westbound from Hampton to Arsenal through 2019
· I-44, St. Louis City, two lanes closed westbound from Arsenal to Shrewsbury indefinitely.
· I-44, St. Louis City, one lane closed eastbound from Shrewsbury to Arsenal indefinitely
· I-44, St. Louis City, the ramp from Shrewsbury to eastbound I-44 is closed indefinitely.
· I-70, St. Louis City, the express lanes are closed through mid-January.
· I-44, St. Louis County, one lane closed westbound between I-270 and Bowles thru late 2021.

Thursday, December 20th
· I-55, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., two left lanes closed northbound at Bayless.
· I-270, St. Louis County, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., one lane on the southbound ramp to Route 180 (St. Charles Rock Road) will be closed)
· Route 67, St. Louis County, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed northbound and southbound at Ladue, Quailways and Chaminade.
· Route 100, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed eastbound and westbound at Geyer.
· Route W, St. Charles County, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed from I-70 to Route 61. Flaggers will direct traffic through the closure.
· I-44, Franklin County, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., one lane closed westbound between Route 30 and Route 185.
· I-44, Franklin County, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., one lane closed eastbound between Route 185 and Route 30.

Friday, December 21st
· I-70, St. Louis County, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., the ramp from westbound to southbound I-270 will be closed.
· I-270, St. Louis County, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., one lane on the southbound ramp to Route 180 (St. Charles Rock Road) will be closed)
· Route 67, St. Louis County, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed northbound and southbound at Ladue, Quailways and Chaminade.
· Route 100, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed eastbound and westbound at Geyer.
· Route W, St. Charles County, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed from I-70 to Route 61. Flaggers will direct traffic through the closure.
· I-44, Franklin County, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., one lane closed westbound between Route 30 and Route 185.
· I-44, Franklin County, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., one lane closed eastbound between Route 185 and Route 30.

Saturday, December 22nd
· I-70, St. Louis County, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., the ramp from westbound to southbound I-270 will be closed.
