Clayton’s Board of Aldermen signed off on selling a city-owned parking lot Monday night, paving the way for a new 22-story luxury apartment at the corner of Forsyth and Brentwood Blvds in downtown Clayton. The Clayton Plan Commission heard from numerous speakers at Monday night’s meeting regarding their issues with a developer’s plans to build a 22-story luxury apartment tower on a parking lot it’s buying from the city of Clayton.
