Legal victory paves the way for three abortion clinics

By Michael Layer  JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Four judges in the Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit denied a request Monday afternoon that would have prevented Planned Parenthood from opening health clinics in Springfield, Joplin, and Columbia. The court’s decision affirms an earlier injunction which allows the facilities to pursue licenses after an inspection.
