MetroLink security audit moving forward

CLAYTON — A security analysis of St. Louis’ MetroLink system will be moving forward in the next couple weeks, St. Louis County officials announced Tuesday. STL County Police reprimand officers after allegations of misconduct

The St. Louis County Police Department’s Bureau of Professional Standards completed on Friday its 16-week investigation into allegations of officer misconduct, regarding several county officers. According to a statement issued by the St. Louis County Police Department, the majority of those weeks, approximately 12, were spent in an effort to obtain the requested information needed to conduct a thorough investigation. Minor adjustments to 26 MetroBus routes will go into effect next week on Monday, Nov. 27, as part of Metro’s quarterly service change. This service update will include new bus bay locations for all MetroBus routes serving the Civic Center Transit Center, except for the #4 Natural Bridge. RELEASE: Gunman charged in Brentwood MetroLink platform shooting

On Tuesday, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued charges on suspect Brandon Thomas, 21, for one count of Assault in the First Degree and one count of Armed Criminal Action, following a shooting at the Brentwood MetroLink Platform Sunday. Thomas is being held on a $200,000 bond. The defendant was identified as the person who shot the victim in the leg. The defendant admitted to shooting the victim.
