RELEASE: MoDOT receives clean audit

JEFFERSON CITY — For the 18th consecutive year, the Missouri Department of Transportation has received an unmodified, or clean opinion from its independent auditors. The good news was delivered to the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission at its meeting this month in St. Louis. MoDOT Financial Services Director Brenda Morris said the clean audit reflects sound financial reporting. MoDOT to close one lane on westbound I-70 in Wentzville this weekend

Commuter watch: Work zones this week, MoDOT limiting work to accommodate eclipse traffic

The Missouri Department of Transportation is limiting work zones this weekend and on Monday, Aug. 21, to help manage the flow of traffic around the area due to Monday’s total solar eclipse, according to a press release.
