SSM said that a former employee at one of their customer service call centers inappropriately accessed medical records from patients between Feb. 13 and Oct. 20 of 2017. The City of St. Louis is one of the neediest cities in the country according to a study conducted by WalletHub. The study showed that St. Louis ranked ninth in the country when compared to 182 U.S. cities across 25 key metrics to determine where Americans are most economically disadvantaged.
