St. Louis County Council passes bill to increase promotional funding for the Magic House

The St. Louis County Council members on Tuesday approved a measure that increased funding for the St. Louis Magic House in Kirkwood so that the not-for-profit museum can attract tourists from throughout the Midwest. The legislation, introduced by Councilwoman Colleen Wasinger, would give the Magic House $100,000 from the unappropriated balance of the Convention and Recreation Trust Fund for promotion in an attempt to increase tourism.
