STL County Council votes to cut McCulloch’s retirement benefits

The St. Louis County Council on Tuesday approved legislation that would offer a new pension package for incoming county employees that aims to save the county money, in addition, the same bill would reduce the St. Louis County Prosecutor’s retirement package. During Tuesday night’s St. Louis County Council meeting council members approved Councilmember Hazel Erby’s substitute bill which would roll back the previously agreed upon county pension plan. A conservation group is scheduled to rally at the St. Louis County Council meeting on Tuesday to protest a new ice rink facility being built in Creve Coeur Lake Park.
