Hummel, Mitten file legislation to fix damage caused by last year’s discriminatory Senate Bill 43

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — State Sen. Jake Hummel (D-St. Louis) and Rep. Gina Mitten (D-St. Louis) have filed Senate Bill 620 and House Bill 1317, legislation that will restore common sense protections for Missourians who are unfairly discriminated against. This legislation also contains the Missouri Fair Housing Act, which will prevent the state from losing $500,000 in housing funds.
