The 33rd annual winter wonderland to open Wednesday Nov. 21st

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – Start a new holiday tradition or continue a favorite one at the 33rd Annual Winter Wonderland in Tilles Park, presented by St. Louis County Parks.

Starting Nov. 21st and ending on Dec. 30th, the display at Tilles park will be open from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm and closed on Dec. 24th for Christmas Eve.

Visitors can slowly meander one mile through over a million twinkling holiday lights fashioned into over 100 display areas of favorite characters and festive scenes as well as a canopy of lights glistening throughout the park.

“Winter Wonderland is one of our most popular attractions every year,” St. Louis County Executive Steve Stenger said. “Our parks department does an outstanding job coordinating the event and we want as many families as possible to enjoy the display.”

Winter Wonderland is open for vehicular traffic and carriage rides every day, except Mondays and Saturdays. Mondays are reserved for Winter Wonderland Walk only. Saturdays are reserved for carriage rides only.

The cost is $10 per family vehicle and carriage rides start at $12 per person plus service charges. Fees for vehicles will be collected as vehicles exit the park. Only cash and checks will be accepted as payment, no credit or debit cards. Carriage ride tickets can be purchased online at metrotix.com or by calling MetroTix at 314-534-1111.

Tilles Park is located at the intersection of Litzsinger and McKnight. All vehicular traffic to Winter Wonderland must enter southbound McKnight Road. For more information, visit www.stlouisco.com/parks.
