Zootoberfest comes to the Saint Louis Zoo

What:  Zootoberfest at the Saint Louis Zoo

Enjoy a Zoo-themed, family-friendly Oktoberfest at the Zoo, including fall-related kids’ games and crafts about animal migration and hibernation, live traditional German music, German specialty food available for purchase, and a “biergarten” serving a variety of beers (ages 21 and older), root beer floats and soft drinks. An exclusive Zootoberfest beer stein will be available for purchase.


10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 30 and Oct. 1

Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 7 and 8

Saturday, Sept. 30: Larry Hallar Accordion Duo

Sunday, Oct. 1: Brasshaufen

Saturday, Oct. 7: Waterloo German Band

Sunday, Oct. 8: Die Spitzbuam

Other Details:           

Admission to the Zoo and Zootoberfest is free. The Zoo is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Zoo exhibits and attractions (except Emerson Children’s Zoo, which is temporarily closed for construction) will be open during Zootoberfest. Stingrays at Caribbean Cove presented by Mercy Kids closes for the season on Oct. 1.
