Ashcroft shares information for 2018 mid-term election

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – On Monday, Missouri Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft released the following information ahead of the Nov. 6, 2018 mid-term election.

On Nov. 1st, the total number of registered voters in Missouri was reported at 4,213,092. The predicted turnout is 54.73 percent, according to local election authorities.

As a reminder, polls will open on Tuesday, Nov. 6th at 6:00 am and close at 7:00 pm. Voters who are in line at 7:00 pm will be qualified to cast a ballot.

Voters can also report any registration or voting problems to their local election official or to the Secretary of State’s Office so that they can assist. Call 866-868-3245 with any questions.

The Secretary of State’s Election Night Reporting website is available here and will be updated throughout the night as results are reported by the local election authorities. Note: although polls close at 7:00 pm, the first results reported to the Secretary of State’s office usually occur after 8:00 pm.
