ST. LOUIS, Mo – On behalf of The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (BAMSL), BAMSL President John Simon and BAMSL Executive Director Zoe Linza accepted the LexisNexis Community & Educational Outreach Award for the St. Louis Attorneys Against Hunger initiative. The award was presented on Aug. 2 at the National Association of Bar Executives (NABE) annual meeting in Chicago.

It is the second year in a row that BAMSL has won the LexisNexis Community & Educational Outreach Award; in 2017, BAMSL was recognized for its Hon. Richard B. Teitelman Memorial St. Louis Pro Bono Challenge.

St. Louis Attorneys Against Hunger is an initiative of BAMSL and its charitable arm, the Saint Louis Bar Foundation. This outreach effort unites lawyers and other legal professionals with the St. Louis community to fight against homelessness and hunger in the St. Louis metropolitan area.
