Bates architectural firm has moved into a new space at 7800 Forsyth, Suite 300. The firm also has locations in Springfield, Mo., and Rogers, Ark.
Bates showed off their new location with a reception catered by Cafe Napoli, tours of the office, and virtual reality tours of buildings they’ve designed.
Gov. Eric Greitens was also there to meet with executives and to mingle with the crowd.
“It’s great to be here at Bates,” Greitens told The Clayton Times, “because what we’re seeing across Missouri is that businesses are investing again in Missouri. We’ve been in office for six months and already in six months Missouri has moved up the ranking nine places for best states to do business, because companies in Missouri are investing again; companies around the country are moving here. Companies around the world are starting to see that Missouri is open for business again.”
Bates is known for their work in the health and hospitality business and Donn Sorensen, executive vice president of Mercy hospitals, was there to celebrate their success.
“I’ve had a six-year relationship with Steve (Warlick, CEO) and Bates, and it’s been fabulous,” Sorensen said. “They’re cutting edge, they do wonderful work, leverage technology, and they’re a great partner to Mercy.”
