Hans Wiemann to bring holiday joy to the children at Shriners

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Local hair restoration company, Hans Wiemann, has partnered with Shriners Hospital for Children, St. Louis, for the second year with the hope of bringing holiday joy and traditions to the patients and their families who do not get to celebrate the holidays in the same manner as other families around the world while in the hospital.

Starting Wednesday, Hans Wiemann will begin collecting toys at its building (1266 Andes Blvd.) and the Moolah Shrine Center (12545 Fee Fee Road).

“I don’t think we ever stop to think about how many kids have to spend the holiday season in the hospital,” Scott Gardner, Marketing Director for Hans Wiemann said. “We’re incredibly proud to be able to lead this toy drive and give these kids some holiday joy.”

On Dec. 20th, former St. Louis Blues enforcer, Cam Janssen, and The Arch 106.5’s Cassiday Proctor will deliver the toys to the children at Shriners.

Gardner said that the smiles on the children’s faces from last year’s toy drive is something that he will never forget.

“It was really inspiring to see just how happy they were to see us last year and to get these toys,” Gardner said. “If we can make even a small difference in their lives, then that means the world to us.”

Toys can be donated to the toy drive through Dec. 19th. Shriners Children Hospital, St. Louis is looking for small, unopened toys such as Legos, toy cars, dolls, stuffed animals, action figures, games, etc.

Each person who donates will be entered into a raffle for the chance to win a brand-new Amazon Echo show.
