Incorrect notice of sample ballot cards sent to some St. Louis County voters

CLAYTON, Mo. – The Board of Elections announced on Wednesday that some voters in three zip codes may have received incorrect sample ballots for the November election.

The three zip codes that received the misprinted ballots are 63017 (Chesterfield); 63021 (Ballwin/Manchester) and 63031 (Florissant).

Election officials said that those voters will receive new ballot sample cards that read “REISSUED DUE TO PRINT VENDOR ERROR” in red ink on the front of the card.

According to the election officials, 88 percent of the voters were not affected. They also stated that additional printing and mailing costs for the reissued ballots will be covered by the print vendor, not the taxpayers.

Voters can view the sample ballot and find where their polling place is by clicking here.

Election officials also added that due to the length of the ballot, they encourage voters to download and fill out their sample ballot before going to the polls on Election Day.
