MoDOT-St. Louis work zones for February 28-March 6

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Drivers heading into downtown this weekend should be aware of several interstate ramps that will be closed Saturday in conjunction with the Mardi Gras Grand Parade.

If you drop passengers off at the parade, it is illegal and unsafe to stop on the interstate to drop passengers off at the top of a closed ramp. Please exit the interstate and drop passengers off near the parade on streets in the city.

Anticipated closures downtown for the parade include:
· Eastbound I-44/northbound I-55, the ramp to 7th and Park is closed from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
· Westbound I-44/southbound I-55, the ramp to 7th Street is closed between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m.
· Northbound I-55, the ramp to 3200 Broadway is closed from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m
· Northbound I-55, the ramp to Gravois/Russell is closed from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
· Eastbound I-64, the ramp to 6th Street is closed between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m.
· Westbound I-44, the ramp to 12th and Gravois may be closed intermittently by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department for traffic management between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m.
· Route 100 (Chouteau) will be closed between 7th and Broadway between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m.

All work is weather permitting and may be shifted due to inclement weather.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:
· I-44, St. Louis City, one lane closed westbound from Hampton to Arsenal through 2019.
· I-44, St. Louis City, two lanes westbound from Arsenal to Shrewsbury are closed indefinitely.
· I-44, St. Louis City, one eastbound lane from Shrewsbury to Arsenal is closed indefinitely.
· I-44, St. Louis City, the ramp from Shrewsbury to eastbound I-44 is closed indefinitely.
· I-70, St. Louis City, the eastbound entrance from 11th Street is closed through fall 2019.
· I-44, St. Louis County, one lane closed westbound between I-270 and Bowles through late 2021.
· I-64, St. Louis County, one lane on the ramp from Hanley to eastbound I-64 is closed through late March 2019.
· Route ZZ, Franklin County, the bridge at Boeuf Creek is closed until mid-August. Detours will be marked.
