OFS announces new board members

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – St. Louis-based nonprofit hunger relief organization, Operation Food Search (OFS), announced Dr. Art McCoy and John Nations to its board on Monday.

“Dr. McCoy and Mr. Nations bring a wide array of strengths and diverse talents to our board,” Kristen Wild, executive director of OFS, said.

McCoy, Jennings School District Superintendent of Schools, is a nationally recognized educator who has a passion for serving attainment gaps in society. During his administration, Jenning’s 2017 graduating class achieved a 100 percent graduation, career and college placement.

His achievements include becoming the youngest and first African American Superintendent/CEO of the Ferguson-Florissant School District at 33 and getting the homeless shelter, Hope House II, and the Care STL Health Fairview Elementary Clinic created under his leadership.
