Sen. Schupp to host free health care event in St. Louis County

Flu shots, health screenings, insurance and prescription guidance, and mental health resources all available to local residents

ST. LOUIS – This Saturday, Sept. 29th, from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, State Senator Jill Schupp, D-Creve Couer, will be hosting a free health care event at the Frank Munsch Community Center in Overland for St. Louis County residents in the area.

“Many Missourians and their families struggle to gain access to basic health care services, and this event will help connect people with the care and resources they need,” said Schupp.

The Care Fair event is made possible with the help of over 40 health care organizations and a bipartisan group of co-hosts from the Missouri House of Representatives.

The co-hosts include Rep. Mark Matthiesen, Rep. Tracy McCreery, Rep. Mary Nichols, Rep. Dean Plocher, Rep. Clem Smith and Rep. Cora Faith Walker.

The event will provide residents in the area with flu shots, vision and blood pressure screenings, mental health resources, health insurance advice, prescription drug assistance, financial literacy and job information and more.

“I want to thank all of our vendors and co-hosts for supporting this event and working together to make our community healthy and strong,” said Schupp.
