St. Louis County Council passes bill that adds more accessibility to some County parks

In a relatively quiet St. Louis County Council meeting, the council passed legislation on Tuesday that would improve accessibility in some County parks.

Bill No. 248 which is sponsored by Councilmembers Sam Page, Pat Dolan and Colleen Wasinger seeks to hire Ottolino Winters Huebner, Inc. for construction of restrooms in three St. Louis County Parks.

The bill passed 5-0 with Councilmembers Ernie Trakas and Hazel Erby absent.

The parks located in Councilmembers Page, Dolan, and Wasingers’ districts include Creve Coeur Park, Queeny Park, and Tilles Park.

The expected cost for the new restrooms is estimated around $139,220.
