St. Louis County Council proposes Clayton road improvements

During a St. Louis County Council meeting on Tuesday, a council member who represents the city of Clayton introduced a new bill that would authorize improvements along a popular road within the city.

County Councilman Pat Dolan’s bill requests authorization of construction and maintenance of improvements along South Hanley road related to the Scott Triangle Park Streetscape.

Additionally, the bill would allow Clayton to construct and maintain the improvements, as requested by the acting director of transportation and public works.

Also during the County Council meeting, a proposed pension change that was expected to be discussed on Tuesday has been postponed until August.

This change would rollback the pension plan by nearly tens years. This is in response to the County Council unanimously approving pension changes last November that was widely seen as a benefit to St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Robert McCulloch.
