The St. Louis County Council on Tuesday is scheduled to discuss legislation that seeks to upgrade a popular road in Clayton and the potential construction of an ice rink in Creve Coeur Memorial Park.
The bill from Councilman Pat Dolan, who represents the 5th District, which includes Clayton, seeks to provide professional engineering and land surveying services to various improvements to Hanley Road from Dale to Manchester.
The engineering contract for the roadways would be with Burns & McDonnell Engineering Company Inc. in an amount that wouldn’t exceed $255,000.
Additionally, Dolan plans to introduce a bill that would authorize an agreement with Washington University in St. Louis for pedestrian and bicycle improvements along Big Bend Boulevard and Forest Park Parkway.
Additionally on the schedule is a resolution request made by Councilwoman Colleen Wasinger, which requests cessation of all grading and other construction-related activities in Creve Coeur Memorial Park at the site of the St. Louis Legacy Ice Foundation’s proposed development of an ice facility until all approvals for the project have been secured.
