(JEFFERSON CITY) – Lieutenant Governor Mike Parson has announced an addition to his staff in Jefferson City. Kelli Jones has joined the Lieutenant Governor’s office as Public Relations/Communications Coordinator. She is filling the position that was held by Tyler Habiger, who accepted a job with the Kansas University Endowment Association in Lawrence, Kansas.
Kelli Jones’ career in communications brings over 25 years of experience to the Office of the Lieutenant Governor. She was on the faculty of State Technical College of Missouri since 2003, having served the past seven years as the Department Chair of Communication and Social Science.
“Nothing pleases me more than being invited to work in the Office of Lieutenant Governor,” said Kelli Jones. “I am looking forward to taking my experiences and strengths in public relations and communications to a whole new level,” Jones said.
“I am thrilled that Kelli Jones has joined our team and is bringing her years of experience to the office,” said Lieutenant Governor Mike Parson. “I take pride in the fact that a well-qualified individual such as Kelli wants to be a member of my staff, benefiting our office, the State Capitol, and the people of Missouri,” Lieutenant Governor Parson said.
