The St. Louis County Council on Tuesday may hear a resolution that would address one of its member’s prolonged absence. St. Louis County Councilman Sam Page will introduce a resolution on Tuesday that would reference Section 2.140.4 of the St. Louis County Charter at the Nov. 7 meeting only in the event that Councilman Ernie Trakas is unable to attend the scheduled meeting. On Monday, it was revealed that four members of the St. Louis County Council were suing County Executive Steve Stenger in regards to him blocking the county auditor from hiring additional staff. St. Louis County Council passes resolution that honors middle school heroes

The St. Louis County Council passed a resolution on Tuesday that honored three middle school students who stopped their school bus when the driver had a medical emergency. Introduced by Councilman Pat Dolan, the resolution recognized three Rogers Middle School students who assisted their bus driver after she was reportedly not responding.
