Twitter bots follow Greitens by the thousands, mostly avoid other lawmakers

Eric Greitens’ official Twitter account has the most fake followers out of the statewide elected officials and legislative leadership. TwitterAudit, a website that audits Twitter accounts, gives Greitens a score of 67 percent, which means the 33 percent of their Twitter followers are from “fake” accounts. State says Cooper County Clerk siphoned public funds for personal pick-up

Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley has filed felony and misdemeanor charges against Cooper County Clerk Darryl Kempf, according to a press release. This is the third corruption prosecution against public officials by Hawley’s Public Corruption Team. Kempf is charged with failure to furnish a return, receiving stolen property, and stealing.
