STL County Council approves legislation that appropriates salaries for domestic abuse shelter employees

The St. Louis County Council on Tuesday passed a bill that would appropriate the salaries of personnel at a domestic abuse shelter in the county. The legislation was unanimously passed 6-0, with Councilwoman Hazel Erby being absent. The bill would appropriate $46,195.61 from the Missouri Department of Public Safety to hire more employees at the shelter.
