The St. Louis Cardinals organization announced that they will be continuing their partnership with National Car Rental, making the sponsorship one of the most prominent in Busch Stadium.
National Car Rental has been the official car rental partner for the St. Louis Cardinals since 2015. The new agreement which was announced on Friday will launch opening day 2018 and extend through 2022.
According to the Cardinals, this new continuation of business will spotlight new features throughout Busch Stadium highlighting National Car Rental.
Some of the new and enhanced elements of the partnership will make National one of the most prominent sponsors inside Busch Stadium. They include:
- Re-naming the former Bank of America Club as the National Car Rental Club and providing directional signage throughout the stadium, signage facing the entry and field, branded ticket stock and online branding;
- Adding the National Car Rental logo to seven static dugout rail pads on the home and visitor dugout camera wells;
- Moving the outfield wall sign to the immediate left of the batter’s eye in centerfield and increasing its size from 15 to 20 feet; and,
- Making National the presenting sponsor of the “Cardinals Karaoke” content series on Cardinals.com, official Cardinals social media accounts and Cardinals Insider TV programming. National also will have sole use of unique Cardinals-produced content, for use on its digital and social channels.
Rob Connors, vice president of brand marketing for National, said they were incredibly proud to have more visibility in the historic stadium.
“The Cardinals are our hometown team and we’re certainly proud to enhance our partnership with the club and our visibility with all of Cardinal Nation,” Connors said. “We look forward to being a bigger part of the fan experience at Busch Stadium for many years to come.”
The existing agreement continues to offer specially priced car rental rates to the entire St. Louis Cardinals organization, which includes players, staff and coaches.
The Cardinals organization also receives access to National Car Rental’s Emerald Club, which expedites the rental process by offering counter bypass.

All of the newly improved assets will accompany existing elements already in place with the Cardinals, including video board signage, a dedicated email to more than 952,000 active subscribers on Cardinals.com and a digital click-thru ad on the Cardinals.com schedule page.
