MoDOT work zones in St. Louis, Nov. 29th-Dec. 5th

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Drivers heading into Illinois from I-55 will need to consider alternate routes this weekend, as crews will have the ramp from eastbound I-44/northbound I-55 closed to the Poplar Street Bridge, weather permitting.

Crews will close the ramp to the bridge at 8:00 pm Friday, Nov. 30th and expect to reopen the ramp by noon on Sunday, Dec. 2nd. Crews will also have three lanes closed on eastbound I-64 across the bridge from 8:00 pm Friday until 5 am Monday, Dec. 3rd. Only one eastbound I-64 lane will remain open across the Mississippi on the Poplar Street Bridge.

In addition, Ameren crews will close eastbound and westbound I-64 between Kingshighway and Grand from 6:00 am to 9:00 am Sunday morning for utility work. Eastbound I-64 will be detoured off the interstate at Vandeventer and westbound I-64 will be detoured off the interstate at Forest Park Avenue.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:
· I-44, St. Louis City, the eastbound exit to Vandeventer is closed until Monday.
· I-44, St. Louis City, two lanes closed westbound from Arsenal to Shrewsbury until July 2019.
· I-44, St. Louis City, one lane closed westbound between Jefferson and Grand through 2019.
· I-44, St. Louis City, two lanes closed westbound between Grand and Kingshighway through 2019.
· I-44, St. Louis City, one lane closed westbound between Kingshighway and Arsenal through 2019.
· I-44, St. Louis City, one lane closed eastbound from Shrewsbury to Jefferson through 2019.
· I-64, St. Louis City, the ramp from Broadway to westbound I-64 is closed until mid-Dec. Due to this work, the ramp from eastbound I-64 to 6th Street (the last Missouri exit) will be closed daily from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
· Route 367, St. Louis City, the west half of Halls Ferry Circle will be closed through early December. Southbound traffic will only be able to stay on southbound Route 367.
· I-44, St. Louis County, the ramp from Shrewsbury to eastbound I-44 is closed until Dec. 2018.
· I-44, St. Louis County, one lane closed westbound between I-270 and Bowles thru late 2021.
· I-70, St. Louis County, the eastbound ramp to Lucas-Hunt is closed until late Nov.
· I-70, St. Charles County, the ramp from T.R. Hughes to westbound I-70 is closed until the new ramp opens in late 2018.
· Route 47, Franklin County, one lane closed southbound on the Washington side of the bridge through the early Dec.
