ST. LOUIS – Nonprofit hunger relief organization, Operation Food Search (OFS), recently named Ellen Reed-Fox as its director of development.
“Ellen has extensive nonprofit experience which will greatly assist her efforts when building relationships with the community,” Kristen Wild, executive director of OFS, said. “Her leadership approach complements our management team’s vision, and we look forward to watching her strategically lead our fundraising campaigns to the next level.”
Reed-Fox brings 25 years of fundraising and leadership experience. In this new role, she will oversee and direct all of the organization’s fundraising efforts including annual, major, and planned giving programs.
Prior to joining OFS, Reed-Fox worked with various nonprofit organizations in a development and advancement capacity. Organizations included Unleashing Potential, formerly known as Neighborhood Houses, Edgewood Children’s Center, and Washington University.
“I am thrilled to be part of OFS, an organization focused not only on meeting the immediate need of hunger relief but also using innovative programs to address the foundational causes of hunger and food insecurity,” Reed-Fox said. “I’m looking forward to helping OFS create a more sustainable and diverse funding model, including more intentional efforts around legacy giving.”
Reed-Fox holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where she also earned her Master of Arts degree in Geography.
