STL County Police respond to a triple shooting in Moline Acres

Updated at 9:45 a.m. with new information about the status of the victims

St. Louis County Police Department responded to a triple shooting in Moline Acres late Wednesday.

St. Louis County Police officers from the North County Precinct and Moline Acres Police officers responded to a call of a shooting at the 9800 block of Monarch Drive.

When officers arrived at the scene they discovered three adult males suffering from gunshot wounds.

Police said all three victims remain at a local hospital and are expected to survive. Two of the victims are 24 years of age and one victim is 20 years of age.

According to the St. Louis County Police Department, their ongoing investigation shows that the three victims were inside a vehicle in the parking lot in the 9800 block of Monarch Drive when occupants of another vehicle fired numerous shots towards the victims’ car.

The suspect vehicle is described as a dark colored, passenger car.

The incident is under investigation by the St. Louis County Police Department’s Bureau of Crimes Against Persons and remains active at this time.
