St. Louis Cardinals, The Cordish Companies unveil new virtual experience for One Cardinal Way residential tower

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The St. Louis Cardinals and The Cordish Companies announced the unveiling of a new look inside the One Cardinal Way.

One Cardinal Way is the 29-story luxury residential tower under construction in downtown St. Louis, as part of Ballpark Village’s $260 million second-phase expansion. According to a news release, starting Wednesday, those interested in living at One Central Way can view a 360° tour of each apartment home online at OneCardinalWay.com.

The news release shared the updated site features an interactive property map, which allows visitors to search for available units and take virtual tours showcasing each apartment’s floorplan, finishes and one-of-a-kind views of Busch Stadium, the Mississippi River, St. Louis skyline and the Gateway Arch. The site also offers updated and comprehensive information about the Onne Cardinal Way’s feature and amenities and the ability to apply online to lease an apartment.

“With the launch of the new One Cardinal Way website, we’re excited to offer a glimpse of the remarkable views the tower will offer. The anticipation is building as the phase II construction progress continues on schedule,” Bill DeWitt III, president of the St. Louis Cardinals said.

One Cardinal Way is located at the corner of Clark and Broadway (601 Clark Ave., St. Louis, Mo 63102), adjacent to Busch Stadium, and is scheduled to open summer 2020. It is expected to be one of the most “luxurious, amenity-rich apartment communities in the country,” according to the news release.

The 297-unit tower, designed by Hord Coplan Macht (HCM), is expected to offer a unique residential experience with views of Busch Stadium in 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom and penthouse apartments. One Cardinal Way will also offer its residents 10,000 square feet of restaurant, retail and lifestyle amenity space located on the first floor and over 25,000 square feet of interior and exterior residential amenity space.

According to the news release, the new space “rivals that of any other apartment building in the country” with amenities including:

  • Expansive outdoor terrace with direct views into Busch Stadium
  • Infinity edge pool
  • Demonstration kitchen
  • Club room featuring an indoor-outdoor bar and fireplace
  • Private event entertainment room
  • Fitness center
  • Conference room

  • 24-hour lobby attendant and personal concierge services

“One Cardinal Way will be one of the Midwest’s premier residential experiences and will offer a completely new way to experience Ballpark Village, Busch Stadium and downtown St. Louis,” Nick Benjamin, vice president of development and managing director of multifamily housing for The Cordish Companies said. “The images we are releasing paint a great picture of what that experience will feel like from the inside.”

The One Cardinal Way residential tower is part of a “dynamic plan” in transforming the Ballpark Village into a “vibrant’ 24/7 urban neighborhood right in downtown St. Louis. The 700,000 square foot expansion which is currently under construction is expected to complete a full build-out of Clark Street to make it one of the “most exciting streets in all of professional sports.” The neighborhood will also include an upscale, full-service hotel, Live! by Loews – St. Louis, Mo. The hotel will be the first Class-A building that has been built in downtown St. Louis in almost 30 years. It will be anchored by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) with a 3-story retail pavilion anchored by a “state-of-the-art” fitness facility, Onelife Fitness, and additional dining retail and entertainment space.
