The St. Louis County Police Department announced on Monday that they are labeling a South County man’s death as a suspicious incident.
Monday at approximately 4:40 p.m., St. Louis County Police officers from the South County Precinct responded to the 600 block of Bayless Avenue for a call for a check the welfare.
According to police, upon arrival they located one male victim, in his early 50s inside his residence. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The incident is being classified as a suspicious death at this time. The investigation remains very active and is being led by the St. Louis County Police Department’s Bureau of Crimes Against Persons.
Police said they will release more information once the deceased is positively identified and the next of kin has been notified.
