Police identify victim in North County shooting

The St. Louis County Police Department on Tuesday identified the victim of a Castle Point shooting.

Police announced that Jarrell Rush, 21, of St. Louis, was the was discovered shot to death near the 10200 block of Count Drive in Castle Point.

On Feb. 12 at approximately 7:00 p.m. officers from the St. Louis County Police Department North County Precinct responded to the 10200 block of Count Drive for a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located Rush on the street who was already deceased from at least one gunshot wound. Rush was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The homicide is under investigation by the St. Louis County Police Department Bureau of Crimes Against Persons.
